フィラリアの薬をもらいに、定期健診に行きました
体重は今月も、5Kgジャスト
On August 23.
Laser went to routine health checkups,
and he got filaria's medicine.
His weight was just 5Kg.

話は変わって、8月28日
子供たちの夏休みの最後の週末に、
家族旅行に行ってきました
On August 28.
In the summer vacation of our children,
we went on a family trip.

星がきれいで、ワンコと泊まれるバンガローを調べると、
意外と近くの山に見つかりました
大正池グリーンパーク
I searched for a bungalow where
I was able to stay with my dog,
and to look the night sky at a beautiful view.
I found it in a mountain which is not so far from our house.
"Pond Tisho Green Park"
新しく開通した、第二京阪で、約70分で到着です
It takes 70 minutes by car to go there.

久しぶりの家族旅行で、大喜びのレーザー
Laser is overjoyed in our family trip.

2008年にできた町立の公園で、
6人用のバンガローは、ロフトもあって、きれいで広々
The park opened in 2008.
The bungalow is good for six people.
It is wide and has loft.
Also, it is clean.

ウッドデッキからの池の眺めがきれいです
The view of the pond from the wood deck
is beautiful.

心も桜も、初バンガローにウキウキ
My children
who stayed in a bungalow for the first time
were excited.

さて、今夜の主役は、
買ったばかりの天体望遠鏡です
The leading part on that night was
an astronomical telescope bought recently.

デジカメをセットします
I connected my digital camera to it.

夜空を見る前に、花火で遊びました
We played fireworks
before watching the night sky.
シャッターを2秒開放すると、きれいな絵が描けます
I opened the shutter of my camera
for two seconds
so that I might take the pictograph of fireworks.

花火を楽しんだ後は、いよいよ天体観測
After that, we observed stars.

38万キロ先にある月面の撮影に挑戦しました
I tried taking pictures
of the moon 240,000 miles ahead.
月の右の小さな星は、木星です
The small star in the right of the moon
is the Jupiter.

少し曇っていたので、
天の川を見ることはできませんでしたが、
木星の茶色い縞模様が1本と、
3つの衛星を見ることができました
残念ながら、木星は小さすぎて、カメラに写りませんでした
We were not able to see the Milky Way
because it was a little cloudy.
We saw the striped pattern of the Jupiter,
and the three satellites.
However, I was not able to take a picture
because they were too small.

私に、いきなり女子高生の姪ができました
